BBQ, Brews & Bluegrass Benefit for BEGINNINGS slated for June 9

BEGINNINGS for Parents of Children Who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing, a North Carolina nonprofit, is preparing for an upcoming event to provide support and resources for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in central North Carolina.

"During fiscal year 2023, we had a significant increase in services to families," says Diane Doak, Executive Director. "As we move further into 2024, I am pleased to see our growth continue and look forward to meeting the needs of more parents in our state.”

BBQ, Brews & Bluegrass is the organization’s annual event in central North Carolina. This year, the event will take place on Sunday, June 9 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at The Durham Exchange, located at 801 Gilbert Street in Durham.

“The central counties are an important part of our focus, and we are delighted to bring this event to the Durham area,” said Doak.
