As a Parent Educator, you'll provide information and support to parents at home visits regarding educational rights and procedures, and to accompany families to exceptional children and regular education meetings in the school setting. As a Parent Educator, you will:
- Meet with families in their homes to provide impartial guidance regarding hearing loss.
- Provide information and support to parents in a home visit regarding educational rights and procedures, and to accompany families to exceptional children and regular education meetings in the school setting.
- Promote early hearing detection and intervention, and to educate the general public and professionals serving families with hearing loss.
