BEGINNINGS is seeking a passionate individual to join our team as a Hispanic Outreach Parent Educator, who is eager to make a difference and thrive in a collaborative environment. We are hiring a position for Eastern North Carolina (Wilson and surrounding counties) and a position for Central North Carolina (Forsyth and surrounding counties).

As a Hispanic Outreach Parent Educator, you will:

Meet with families in their homes to provide impartial guidance regarding hearing loss. The applicant must be able to provide these services in both English and Spanish.
Provide information and support to parents in a home visit regarding educational rights and procedures, and to accompany families to exceptional children and regular education meetings in the school setting.
Promote early hearing detection and intervention, and to educate the general public and professionals serving families with hearing loss.
